"Dune Dance" This delightful new beach house is set back into the expansive dunes of the quiet East End of Dauphin Island . . . . .yet is only a few minutes' walk to the private community beach, pool, tennis courts and playground.The complex has its own pool, tennis court, and private Gulf of Mexico beach.It is never crowded, even on holiday weekends . . . a real "find"! The beach access is only a few hundred yards from "Dune Dance"! The Great Room also features panoramic window walls for gazing across the spacious deck to the dunes from the sofa or relaxing on the Sea Grass furniture. This home has all the amenities, including cool terra cotta tile floors, granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances and custom-made natural maple cabinets in the kitchen. A full complement of housewares and utensils make this a great place for holiday get-togethers!Dauphin Island is very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery, & several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. The island is accessible by bridge from I-10 and I-65. Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is only a few miles away & is accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip). For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, play a round of golf at the Isle Dauphine gulf-front course, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach or at the long gulf-front fishing pier, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or just relax! |
