This house is beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. The view of the dunes is so relaxing. The screened in porch was perfect for bug free nights and being able to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. The beach is a small trek especially when carrying beach gear for 6 people, but the golf cart helps with that. This was a great family vacation rental and I would consider using it again.

This is a hidden gem of a vacation spot. We enjoyed every moment we spent there with our twins and extended family. It really is family friendly and we loved the quiet beach setting.

My family and I had a great time, our first to rent a Beach house! The home was very lovely and had all the amenities we didn't take with us. Enjoyed the golfcart to get to and from the beach and pool!! We enjoyed watching the pair of Red Foxes off the back deck...Its a layed back,very restful place...and our Bed was out of this world!!! We had a great time with our children and grandchildren at Dune Dance. The house is very nice and accomodated our family well. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and we prepared quite a few seafood meals there. Getting to and from the pool with the golf cart was easy and the pool was nice and clean. The trek to the beach carrying everything proved to be burdensome, however. If you want to spend a lot of time on the beach, be prepared to do some hiking. There were a few minor issues with maintenence on the house but nothing we couldn't live with. My favorite part of the house was sitting on the porch with my book. We loved Dauphin Island and the fact that is was not crowded and look forward to returning again.

Dune Dance was a beautifully decorated fully equipped house. The elevator made it possible for my mother to visit from Mobile and celebrate her 94th birthday with us. The grandkids -2 age 2 and 5 year old and 8 year old had a great time. Riding the golf cart was a treat for the kids. All the adults loved the vacation. The 8 year old wanted to take home a bag of sand to show his Boston friends the white, soft sand. The 5 year old learned to dive in the association swimming pool. We loved that there was nothing much to do on the island!

We had a wonderful time on Dauphin island. Dune Dance was beautiful. We loved the house, the pool and of course the beach. My family really enjoyed the whole experience. The kids had a blast jumping the waves in the ocean and flying kites and building sand castles in the sand. We also loved the spacious kitchen and the screened in porch. It was our first time in alabama and we loved it.

My family spent a week in June at Dune Dance and I look forward to booking this property again during off season. The furnishings in the house were nice and the house was immaculate when we arrived. When we arrived the Internet wasn't working and the next day, David came out to take care of it. The house is large enough for several adults and children to share the space and still find privacy. The subdivision and beach were never crowded and we were often alone early morning and late evening. Our granddaughters enjoyed a ride in the golf cart but the boardwalk was close enough to walk. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was inoperable when we visited. This was our biggest disappointment. There were toys for the kids to build sandcastles. We felt at home while we were there and enjoyed a relaxing time together.

My family and I stayed at the house over Christmas. We very much enjoyed the house, location and the island. Perhaps December is not the right time of year to expect a heated pool to be warm, but it was not warm enough to swim in. There has also been an indication that plexiglass wind breaks would be installed by then, but they were not.

Dune Dance is a beautiful comfortable home. Its ideal for a family of 9-10. The kitchen is very equipted for cooking.Its perfect for children to ride their bikes and play in the sand. It gave the parents a break because they did not have to keep a constant hold on the kids so they got to relax more themselves. The Island is laid back and friendly, no trafic to fight when seeing the local sights easy excess to all. I think the number one favorite for everyone including me was the golf cart it made the beach and pool an easy excess. The sunsets are beautiful from the back porch. Dauphin Island Beach Rentals (Nancy) was very helpful and handled all problems that seem to arise very quickly. Overall this was one of the best vacations we have had as for as comfort and ease. Definately a place to return to.

We loved this house! We had two homes in the desoto landing and they were both great. My brother and his family stay in this house and we loved the view of the dunes from the living room and what a great sunset view too. The layout of the house worked great for a family with girls, boys and even a grandpa too. The only thing was that the kitchen just didn't have enough dish ware to serve a large meal. Regardless,we will be back next year. The other house, Dune Song, was connected by a boardwalk and it was perfect for our family.
